School officials said they contacted the Medina County Fair Board, local Chambers of Commerce and the Medina County Commissioners. Nobody has shown any interest in hosting the event.

by John Blake
Saturday November 15, 2008, 12:09 AM
In a last ditch effort, Highland was kept out of the end zone on a superb goalline stand during Sylvania Southview's 28-21 regional final win in the Division II high school football playoffs Friday night at Perkins High School in Huron.
Trailing by a touchdown with less than a minute remaining, Highland running back Chris Snook was stopped short at the goalline on fourth down. The senior West Virginia recruit was held to just 47 total rushing yards on 23 carries, in addition to three fumbles, one of which occurred on the Southview goalline in the first half.
Highland fell behind 14-0 in the opening quarter and trailed 28-14 with less than six minutes remaining the game before its late comeback.
